But around 7-8 December, a situation of western disturbance is being created in the mountains of Jammu and Kashmir, due to which there will be heavy snowfall.

The effect of the disturbance can be seen in Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh, Delhi and western Uttar Pradesh after three-four days. Cold winds from the north will come down rapidly and spread over a wide area. Minimum temperatures may fall from Delhi to Ranchi and Raipur.
No La-Nina situation, temperature will not fall
The Meteorological Department (IMD) believes that there is not going to be any major drop in temperature at the moment. Earlier it was being said that due to the activation of La-Nina in the Pacific Ocean, there will be severe cold in India, but the situation of La-Nina has not been formed yet.
