Weather Update: Storm and rain alert in 14 states, know how the weather will be in your state

Rainfall Alert: By February 22, widespread impact will be seen on Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. At the same time, there is an alert of rain and strong winds in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.

Rainfall Update: Rain, snowfall and thunderstorms are going to start in many states of North-West India from today (February 19). A fresh active western disturbance has become active from the night of 17 February 2024. Whose effect will be seen on North-West India. Due to this, the weather of many states will suddenly change.

Snowfall on mountains

By February 22, widespread impact will be seen on Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain and snowfall along with some heavy rain and lightning. Today i.e. on 19th February, hailstorm activities may occur at different places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Rain, hail and strong winds in the plains

Light to moderate rain is possible in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Western Uttar Pradesh between February 19 and 21, and in Eastern Uttar Pradesh and North Madhya Pradesh between February 20 and 22. Apart from this, there is a possibility of sporadic hailstorm activities along with thunder, lightning and strong winds. These days, light to moderate rain is possible at some places in Rajasthan. There is also a possibility of sporadic rain in North Madhya Pradesh between 19 and 22 February. At the same time, there is a possibility of rain or strong winds or dust storm in Patna on 21st and 22nd February.

Light rain in these states also

Light to moderate rain and snowfall is possible in Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh between 21 and 24 February. Light to moderate rain is possible in Assam and Meghalaya during this period. At the same time, dense fog may occur in the morning in some areas of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and Odisha.
