IMD Weather Update: The weather is going to change rapidly in some states of North India within the next 24 hours. According to the Meteorological Department, not only strong winds will blow at a speed of 30 kilometers per hour in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Himachal Pradesh. In fact, some parts of Uttarakhand including Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh may experience hailstorm along with rain. Apart from this, Western Disturbance will once again gain momentum in the Western Himalayan region from Saturday, due to which the chances of thunderstorms with heavy rains are increasing in this area.
According to the Meteorological Department, at present western disturbance is active in Telangana. Due to this, the weather has changed in some parts of Telangana, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Scientists of the Meteorological Department say that apart from parts of Central India, the weather may change in some parts of North India in the next 24 hours. According to estimates, strong winds may blow in some parts of Himachal including Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh. Apart from this, rain along with hailstorm is also being predicted in the hilly states within the next 24 hours.
Meteorologist Alok Yadav says that at present due to strong winds, there is a possibility of further increase in temperature. Actually, these winds are not accompanied by rain, hence they can also be seen as dry winds. Apart from this, rain is being predicted at different places in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and some parts of Himachal Pradesh from Thursday afternoon onwards. According to the Meteorological Department, along with less rain, there is a high possibility of hailstorm. For this reason, these states have already been alerted regarding crops.
According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, after the next 24 hours the weather will clear in the North-West Himalayan region and in the plains. But once again on Saturday afternoon, due to the activation of Western Disturbance, the weather will change not only in the plains but also in the Himalayan region. According to the department, at present the effect of western disturbance will become more clear by Friday. According to the estimates so far, the activity of western disturbance may continue for at least three days on Saturday.
