According to the Meteorological Department, apart from torrential rains, warnings of storm and lightning have also been issued at these places. Talking about North India, there will be rain in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh on 9 and 10 October. At the same time, lightning activities can be seen in some areas with the arrival of storm. There will be thunderstorms at many places. Talking about the weather of South India, heavy rain will be seen in Tamil Nadu from Sunday 8th October to Wednesday 11th October, in South Karnataka on 9th and 10th October and in Kerala on 10th and 11th October.
Weather condition of Delhi-UP-Uttarakhand
The Meteorological Department has predicted mainly clear skies on Sunday. IMD said that the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 36 and 22 degrees Celsius respectively. There may be light rain in Delhi on October 10. Where in the next few days the minimum temperature can be around 20 degrees and the maximum temperature can be around 37 degrees.
Whereas in Uttar Pradesh, there may be rain and thundershowers at one or two places in Western UP on October 9. However, there is no possibility of rain during this period due to dry weather in Eastern UP. On October 10, there may be rain and thundershowers at some places in the western part of UP. On October 11, the weather will be dry in Western UP and Eastern UP.
According to the Meteorological Department, sporadic rain is expected in some districts of Uttarakhand in the next 24 hours. At the same time, changes may be seen in the weather for the next 10 days. There will be a drop in temperature.
