The Meteorological Department said that a low pressure area has formed in the Bay of Bengal, which is located on the coast between southern Odisha and northern Andhra Pradesh. Due to this, there will be rain in many states between 6th to 9th September.

The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility that it will rain in many parts of the country for the next three days. Due to the formation of a low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal, there may be heavy rains in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, South India and Northeast states between September 6 and September 9. The IMD said that the low pressure area lies along the coast between South Odisha and North Andhra Pradesh. The department said that due to its effect, there is a possibility of heavy rains, thunderstorms and lightning in Odisha.
The Meteorological Department said that due to lightning and thunderstorms in West Bengal, light to moderate rain may occur in West Bengal during September 6 to 7. At the same time, there are chances of heavy rains in Odisha, Jharkhand and Andaman and Nicobar. Due to this, there has been a warning of water-logging in the low-lying areas of Odisha and traffic jams in urban areas.
Heavy rain expected in UP, MP and Rajasthan till September 9
There are chances of heavy rains with thunderstorms in western Uttar Pradesh on 6th September and in eastern Uttar Pradesh till 6th and 7th September. Along with this, the Meteorological Department has predicted light drizzle to moderate and heavy rains in East Rajasthan on 7th and 9th September and in Uttarakhand on 8th and 9th September. People in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh will also get relief from the heat for the next three days. The weather will be pleasant due to rain during 6th to 9th September. IMD has also warned of heavy rain.
Clouds will rain in northeastern states till September 9
Rain has been predicted in the northeastern states till September 9. Rain is expected in Assam and Meghalaya on 8 and 9 September and in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura during 7 to 9 September.
