IMD Rainfall Alert: IMD predicted rain in these parts of India including Delhi, check weather condition

Weather Update Today: It may rain with thunderstorms in Delhi-NCR today. According to IMD, conditions are favorable for further advance of monsoon over South Peninsular and East India during June 19 to 22.

New Delhi. Delhi-NCR is expected to get respite from the heat even today and there may be rain with thunderstorm. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature in Delhi on June 18 ) is expected to be 38 degree Celsius. According to IMD, conditions are becoming favorable for further advance of Monsoon into some more parts of South Peninsular and East India and adjoining areas during June 19 to 22. Today South- Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places over East Rajasthan and Meghalaya.IMD has issued a red alert for very heavy rainfall in East Rajasthan due to the impact of Cyclone Biparjoy.

IMD has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall at many places over West Rajasthan, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim today. Along with this, there may be heavy rains in Gujarat, Kerala and Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal. Whereas in Uttarakhand, there is a possibility of hailstorm (speed of 60-70 km per hour) along with hailstorm at many places.

According to IMD, today Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi, West Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, West Uttar Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha, Assam, Marathwada, Madhya Maharashtra, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rain with lightning, strong thunderstorm and lightning is expected at isolated places over Yanam, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Interior Karnataka.

Even today, severe heat wave is going to continue in many parts of the country. IMD has predicted severe heat wave conditions in parts of Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam. On the other hand, heat wave is expected in different areas of Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Vidarbha, East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Telangana. IMD has issued Orange Alert in Il states regarding heat wave. Whereas parts of Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh are likely to remain warm tonight. IMD has predicted 25-35 km rain in Rajasthan due to the impact of Cyclone Biperjoy. From speed per hour to 45 km. The possibility of wind blowing at the speed of per hour has also been expressed.
