New Delhi: According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is going to change in the plains of north-western India from 27th November. Due to this, there is a possibility of rain at isolated places in the Western Himalayan region and the plains of North-West India between 27-28 November. According to the Meteorological Department, a change in the weather may be seen in Delhi-NCR on November 24. The movement of clouds in the sky will continue for a few days. Fog may be visible till the morning of 26th November. Apart from this, due to the new western disturbance, there may be light rain in some areas of Delhi on November 27.
At the same time, from November 25, a fresh western disturbance with easterly winds can affect north-west and western India. Due to this, the weather will change in the hilly areas of Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. From 24th November i.e. from today till 27th November, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with isolated thunderstorms and lightning at isolated places in North Central Maharashtra, North Konkan, Gujarat, South-West Madhya Pradesh and South Rajasthan.
Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of formation of a low pressure area in and around the South Andaman Sea around November 26. Talking about today’s weather, according to Skymet Weather report, there may be moderate to heavy rain in Kerala, Interior Tamil Nadu and South Karnataka today.
Light moderate rain is possible in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, parts of Telangana, Karnataka and Lakshadweep. Light rain and snowfall is possible in upper areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and Muzaffarabad. Light rain is possible at some places in Northeast India. The air quality index of Delhi and NCR will remain in the severe category.
