UP Weather Today: There is a possibility of fog and severe cold day in Uttar Pradesh on 27, 28 and 29 January. However, no significant change will be seen in the minimum temperature at present.
UP Weather Today: It is severe winter in Uttar Pradesh. Fog and icy winds have increased the problems of the people. Melting has increased due to cold wave. Fog is present in most areas of the state. There is a white blanket of dense fog in the capital Lucknow since morning. Along with this, red alert of cold has been issued in 41 districts including Saharanpur, Bareilly, Muzaffarnagar. There is no respite from the cold in the remaining parts, here too there is an orange alert of dense fog.
There is no possibility of getting relief from cold in UP even on Friday 26th January. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is likely to remain dry in the state even today. Along with this, the triple whammy of fog, cold day and cold wave can trouble people in the state. The Meteorological Department has predicted dense to very dense fog at many places today. There is a possibility of cold day to severe cold day in many places of the state, while there is an alert of cold wave in many places of western UP.
No relief from cold
There is a possibility of fog and severe cold days in Uttar Pradesh on 27, 28 and 29 January. However, no significant change will be seen in the minimum temperature at present. There may be a slight increase in the minimum temperature in the last 48 hours. The lowest temperature in the state was recorded at 3.0 degrees Celsius in Churk and Kanpur.
Red alert for winter day in these districts
Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Bijnor, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Bahraich, Agra, Etawah, Auraiya, Jalaun, Kanpur, Jhansi, Lalitpur, Mahoba, Banda, Fatehpur, Chitrakoot, Red alert of dense fog and severe cold day has been issued in Kaushambi, Shravasti, Gonda, Balrampur, Siddarthnagar, Basti, Maharajganj, Gorakhpur, Kushinagar, Deoria, Prayagraj, Mirzapur and Sonbhadra.
Whereas Ballia, May, Ghazipur, Varanasi, Azamgarh, Ambedkar Nagar, Sultanpur, Pratapgarh, Ayodhya, Amethi, Rae Bareli, Barabanki, Lucknow, Unnao, Hardoi, Kannauj, Farrukhabad, Mainpuri, Firozabad, Etah, Badaun, Hathras, Aligarh, Mathura, Orange alert of fog and cold day has been issued in Bulandshahr, Noida and Ghaziabad.
