According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature in Delhi remained normal on Saturday. The maximum temperature of Delhi was recorded at 35.1 degrees while the minimum temperature was recorded at 20.2 degrees. At present this temperature is normal. A day earlier on Friday, the maximum temperature of the national capital was two degrees Celsius above normal and the minimum temperature was one degree Celsius above normal. The Meteorological Department says that the maximum temperature in Delhi on Sunday may be 36 degrees while the minimum temperature may be around 19 degrees.
Along with this, the wind speed will be around 25 to 35 kilometers per hour. Because of this, the feeling of heat will be relatively less. However, this relief will not last long. With the increase in temperature, the heat will also start increasing in the areas of Delhi NCR from Monday. While this week the maximum temperature is likely to be between 34 to 36 degrees, next week the maximum temperature is likely to reach near 40 degrees.
According to meteorologists, the wind speed will also reduce to around 8 to 12 kilometers per hour from Monday. The maximum temperature in Delhi will reach 37 degrees on Monday. With the increase in temperature, the wind speed will slow down due to which the heat will increase. The sky will remain completely clear in Delhi for the next five days. There may be cloud cover for some delay, but there is no possibility of rain at the moment.
According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature on Tuesday is expected to be 38 degrees while from Wednesday to Friday it is expected to be 39 degrees. It is a matter of relief that during this period the minimum temperature will not increase rapidly and it will remain around 20 to 21 degrees. The sky will remain completely clear in Delhi for the next five days. There may be cloud cover for some delay, but there is no possibility of rain at the moment.
There is a big relief in pollution in Delhi since last March. Pollution in Delhi was recorded in moderate category on Saturday also. The air quality index in Delhi was recorded at 165 which falls in the moderate category. Pollution in Delhi will remain in moderate category for the next three days. On Saturday, the air remained in poor category in four areas of Delhi. These areas are Anand Vihar, Jahangirpuri, Mundka and NSIT Dwarka. The most polluted NSIT was Dwarka where the air quality index was recorded at 256.
