Those who register under this scheme, after completing 60 years of age, will get a minimum pension of 3 thousand rupees every month. If the beneficiary dies before the pension is received, then 50% of the pension will be given to his spouse.
According to the government data, the government gives a pension of 36 thousand rupees annually under the scheme. With which you can easily manage your expenses. Over 42 crore people in the country work in the unorganized sector. They have a chance to take advantage of the scheme. So far, about 64.5 lakh people have registered themselves under the scheme.
Who can become a part of PM-SYM Scheme?
-The person works in the unorganized sector.
– Age should be between 18 years to 40 years.
– Monthly income should not be more than Rs 15,000.
– Being a member of any other pension scheme will not be eligible for the honorarium scheme.

How does the account open?
According to the information given on the website of the Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO), people of the unorganized sector can open an account under the PM-SYM scheme. The age limit is 18 to 40 years. Income should be less than 15 thousand rupees. Nearest Common Service Center (CSC) has to be found. Do not forget to carry the documents mentioned here. Make sure that the IFSC code is printed on the savings account passbook. Registration can be done through CSC. Apart from this, applications can also be made by visiting the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) branch, State Employees Insurance Corporation (ESIC), EPFO or Labor Office.
How much will the contribution have to do?
In PM Shram yogi Maan-dhan yojana, there is a contraption according to age. The younger the member, the lower his / her contribution will be. If someone will join the scheme at the age of 18, then they will have to deposit Rs 55 per month. Similarly, the 29-year-old will have to pay 100 rupees and the 40-year-old 200 rupees. This amount will have to be deposited till the age of 60 years. The amount of premium will be deposited, the same amount will be deposited by the government in the name of the member.
Who will not get the benefit of the scheme?
If the employee already has an EPF / NPS / ESIC account or pays income tax, then he cannot become a member of the scheme.
