Dabhadkar was 85 years old. Dabhadkar, who retired from the Nagpur-based Civil and Statistics Department, was infected with Kovid for the past few days.
His condition was critical and he desperately needed an oxygen bed. But it is being said that he gave his oxygen bed to another patient. He died three days later.

Dabhadkar was praised on Twitter and Facebook posts. Even Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan tweeted about Dabhadkar’s death.
