Online Social Media Notes Ban: Students in Kerala will no longer be able to share study notes on WhatsApp. Regarding this decision, the Kerala Education Department believes that studies should be done in the classroom, not on mobile. It has been clearly mentioned in this order that neither can notes be sent on social media nor can they be printed. Higher Secondary Academic Joint Director Suresh Kumar said that the Regional Deputy Director will inspect the school to see if the rules are being followed or not.
This decision has been taken after the effect of the Kovid-19 epidemic is over. Online classes were held during the closure of schools. Although online classes were helpful at that time, parents complained to the Child Rights Commission about its many adverse effects. After this the Education Department reconsidered it.
Now the principals of higher secondary schools have been instructed to prevent teachers from distributing notes through digital platforms. Apart from this, encourage students to adopt more traditional methods of learning.
