If you use messaging application WhatsApp then there is important news for you. After October 24, WhatsApp is going to stop its support on many smartphones. If you also use these smartphones, then you must take backup of your data so that your important things are not missed.
WhatsApp Support Ending: Instant messaging application WhatsApp keeps bringing new features and updates for the convenience of its users. The company tries to do something new to improve the experience of the users, however in the meantime WhatsApp has made a big announcement. The company is soon going to remove its support from some Android and iOS devices, which means WhatsApp will not run on these smartphones.
Let us tell you that after October 24, WhatsApp will be closed on some Android and Apple iPhones. According to a report, WhatsApp will not work on old iPhones and Android phones. This is not the first time that WhatsApp support is being removed from Android smartphones. The company keeps taking such steps from time to time keeping security in mind.
Let us tell you that if you have a device which is currently running on Android OS version 4.1, then the support of WhatsApp will stop on it from October 24. A list of about 25 such smartphones has been released in which WhatsApp will not run. If you also have an old smartphone, then back it up as soon as possible so that your important documents and chats are not missed.

Check your smartphone’s OS in this way
- Open the Settings app on your smartphone.
- Now go to About Phone section in Settings.
- Now you have to click on the option of software information.
- Now you can check the Android version here to see which version your phone is currently running on.
