In its new update, Telegram is giving all the features that you get in WhatsApp. Telegram has announced a new add on feature while updating its app. The new update includes scheduling voice chat, mini profile for voice chat, new web version and payments 2.0. Since the Whatsapp policy controversy, many users have shifted to Telegram and it is believed that the addition of this special feature in Telegram will reduce WhatsApp’s userbase.
Schedule voice chat
In this new update of Telegram, users can schedule voice chat by putting date and time in groups and channels. This means that the time at which you will have to send voice chat, it will automatically go according to the time set by the user. To use it, the Android user has to click on 3 dots. By clicking on the option of start voice chat, you will get the option of schedule voice chat.
Profile Photo
Telegram has given its users a new feature called Mini Profile. Through this feature, you will be able to edit your profile picture and bio without coming back from any chat, and will be able to view and expand your profile during chatting.
Telegram Web App
The web version was available in Telegram only since 2014. Telegram has now launched two new fully featured web apps. Both these new web apps support features such as dark mode, animated stickers and chat folders. This new web app can be used on any device or desktop. Only 400 KB of space is required to download this new app.
Payment
This payment feature was given in Telegram only since 2017. Now this feature has been updated, through which users can now pay using any app in Telegram chat. A desktop app can also be used to make payments. Telegram will not take any commission on payment nor will it save the payment details in its database.
