New Delhi. WhatsApp is used by crores of people all over the world. A big reason for its popularity is that new features are added to the app from time to time. However, WhatsApp removes support from old smartphones from time to time. Because, these phones are not able to implement these new features nor are they able to receive security upgrades. Once again, WhatsApp support is going to be removed from more than 35 Android and iOS smartphones in the coming weeks.
WhatsApp keeps adding new features to the app, which require a certain type of system. Currently, according to the latest update, users must have Android 5.0 or above version or iOS 12 or above version to run WhatsApp. In such a situation, if your phone is still not at least on these versions, then you will have to update the software of your phone. The 35 phones from which WhatsApp support is going to be removed include phones from companies like Samsung, Apple, LG and Sony.
