In Bhojpur, criminals shot 2 Mauseri sisters returning home from the reception party. Both have been referred to Patna in critical condition. The incident occurred near the Valiganj Dharahara outpost in the Town Police Station area. Late Wednesday night, both sisters were returning by bike with their maternal uncle Chand, when drunk 3 crooks came. The miscreants asked to stop the bike showing weapons. When Chand did not stop the bike, the crooks started firing. In this, both sisters got shot. Locals are apprehending that the miscreants asked the looters to stop the bike, not firing, and escaped.
The firing stirred the area. The local people got the injured admitted to Ara Sadar Hospital for treatment, from where they were referred to Patna in critical condition. Here, the police reached the hospital as soon as the incident was reported. Interrogated the family of the injured. According to police, the cause of the incident is being ascertained. Some people are being questioned. Surrounding CCTV footage is being scrutinized. Raids are on in search of miscreants. The injured have been identified as Shama Parveen (17), daughter of Mubarak Ali, resident of Lohta village in Banaras, Uttar Pradesh, and Alisha Naz (16), daughter of Sana Ullah, resident of Naya Bhojpur village of Dumraon police station area of her cousin Buxar.
The family members of the injured said that they had come to their maternal grandmother’s house, Rauja Mohalla of both the town police station area. From here, she went to the reception party of Sonu, son of her relative Ehsan Khan, based in Valiganj, on Wednesday night. After this, late in the night we were returning home by bike. Three criminals asked to stop the bike near the Valiganj Dharahara outpost. I did not stop the bike, then shot both sisters. In this, one bullet was shot near Alisha’s right shoulder and the other shot in Shama Parveen’s left arm. Local people say that the police should take this matter seriously and arrest the culprits.
