Aadhaar authentication- UIDAI has prepared such a system, from which it can be found where your Aadhaar has been used.
There is constant concern about the misuse of Aadhaar. You must also have set your base somewhere for the necessary services. But, how much confidentiality has been kept, you are hardly aware of this. Very few people know where their Aadhaar has been used or who has used their Aadhaar for Authentication. But, there is a way to know when and where the Aadhaar card was used as proof.
How to know
UIDAI, the organization that manages Aadhaar, has prepared such a provision, from where the use of Aadhaar can be ascertained.
- First of all, you open the website https://resident.uidai.gov.in.
- Click on the link to go to the Aadhaar Authentication page.
- Now you fill your Aadhaar number and security code. After this, we have to click on Generate OTP.
- After this OTP will be received on mobile.
- It is important that your mobile number is already verified on the UIDAI website.
Enter information in another option
After inserting OTP, some more options will appear, giving the information duration and number of transactions. After filling your OTP, click on ‘Submit’. The date, time and type of authentication request will be known in the chosen period. However, the page will not know who has made this request.
Information can be locked online
Now if you find any information related to Aadhaar suspicious, then you can lock the information of Aadhaar online and it can also be unlocked when you want to use it.
PAN link is required
PAN Link – For this, you will have to fill the PAN and Aadhaar information by going to the income tax website and complete the Aadhaar Authentication process.
