He said that the color of the flag on the Army Convoys, which takes the soldiers from one place to another in Kashmir and also goes out of Kashmir, has been changed from red to blue. At the same time, on the wall of the cants, there will be pictures of those youth of Kashmir who are a source of inspiration for the rest of the people.

There will not be sticks in the hands of soldiers.

Take Colonel Khan also informed that there will be no sticks in the hands of the soldiers. Rather, they will be advised to use seats to stop the vehicles. There will also be photographs of beautiful areas of Kashmir on the vehicles. Apart from this, the army has also asked its soldiers who behave with the convoy to behave properly. These soldiers have been told that if they stop somewhere, they should treat people politely.

Army is running many missions

From the army, many other missions are being successfully carried out in the valley at this time. Many army operations are still in the valley. People come from every part of the country in the army and people of every religion are given a place. For this reason, some people in the valley also term it as ‘People’s Army’. There are many humanitarian missions of the army that are bringing the people of the valley closer to it. In the 1990s, when the terrorism in the valley started raising head, the army thought of helping the people here.

Youth employment

In the 90s itself, a detailed program was put forward to fulfill the basic needs of the people here and to empower the local people here. ‘Operation Sadbhavana’ was launched by the government. Even after 30 years of launching, the project is benefiting millions of Kashmiris who are poor or are deprived of facilities.

This project is operated by the Northern Army Command of the Army, which is located in Udhampur, Jammu. Today, because of this operation, the army has not only made a place in the hearts of Kashmiris but has also empowered them in the true sense. Through this project, many youth-based schemes are being operated. The campaign to keep these young people connected by mainstreaming them by providing education, skills and employment continues.

Focus on development of every sector

The central government is currently focusing on the development of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir in every way. Various initiatives are being taken to increase investment from agriculture sector to here. The central government’s focus is to promote investment in health care and service sectors in the state. For this, he is trying to win the hearts of every section of the state.

Article 370 was removed from Jammu and Kashmir on 5 August 2019. After this the state was divided into two union territories like Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. After the removal of article 370, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has inaugurated 6 bridges for the purpose of development in the border areas of the valley.
