Work From Home Rules: HCL Technologies, one of India’s largest IT companies, has made a new rule for its employees. Now he will have to come to office 3 days a week. This rule will come into effect from February 19. If an employee does not come to the office without informing or without any reason, then action can be taken against him, like he can be considered absent. Before HCL, other big IT companies like TCS, Infosys and Wipro have also made a rule for their employees to come to office to some extent.

According to an internal letter from HCL Technologies, Vikas Sharma, head of the Financial Services (DFS) department, has said that now all DFS employees, irrespective of their post, will have to come to their office at least 3 days a week. This rule has come into effect from 14 February.

If you do not come to office three days a week, you will be charged leave.

According to the report of Money Control, HCL Technologies has said that it follows hybrid work model, in which work can be done both from home and office. But, the management of the company has insisted on the rule of coming to office 3 days a week. If an employee does not come to office without prior notice or reason, he can be given leave without pay.

It will be necessary to work for 8 hours

Employees are worried that they will now have more supervision. The manager will see every activity happening on the laptop and will insist on working for at least 8 hours. If someone does not follow the rules, then action can be taken against him as per the company’s policies. Now this will also apply to senior managers and the leadership team of the company. From February 19, this rule will be applicable to all those employees who work in the Digital Foundation Services (DFS) department from E0 to E3 level. This is the same department which was already working in the hybrid work model.
