Then after seeing your PNR number on your ticket, type it here.
After this fill your train number.
After that fill the Captcha.
Then click on the checkbox and submit.
After this your registered mobile number will be asked from you.
An OTP will come on it through which your verification will be done.
After verifying, you click on Cancel Ticket.
Now you will see the amount you will get back on the screen.
This detail will also be sent to you on your mobile number.
How to get money for cancellation of ticket?
You will cancel the ticket but you will not get the money on the internet. When you place a ticket cancellation request, you will be informed about the amount that will be refunded to you. Along with this, you are also told with the PNR number from where you will get the money. Like you will be told that you can take money by going to your nearest railway station.
Train Ticket Cancellation Refund Rules
If you cancel a train ticket, then in some circumstances you get the money back. But for this you should know when you should cancel the ticket.
– If you have a sleeper class waiting or RAC ticket, then you can cancel the ticket up to 30 minutes before the train departure, on which you will have to pay a cancellation charge of Rs 60.
If you cancel the ticket after the train opens, then you will not get any money back.
– If you have an unreserved sleeper class ticket, then you can cancel the ticket up to 30 minutes before the departure of the train, on which you will have to pay a cancellation charge of Rs 30.
If you cancel the ticket two days before the departure of a train, then the second class passenger has to pay Rs 60 and the slipper class passenger has to pay Rs 120. On the other hand, Rs 180 for third AC coach, Rs 200 for second AC coach and Rs 240 for first AC coach will have to be paid.
– If a passenger cancels the ticket within 12 hours to 48 hours from the time of departure of the train, then he will have to pay 25 amount of fare per passenger.
