In order to replace the old IFSC code with the new one, customers will have to submit a softcopy of their bank proof. You can send a request for online correction from your registered mobile number which is linked with Aadhar card.
Updates can be done from bank branch
If your account was in such banks which have been merged then you will have to hand over your old passbook and check book to the bank to get the new IFSC code. In return, they will give you a passbook and checkbook containing your updated details.
The codes of these banks became invalid
