YouTube Premium users will now be able to share ad-free videos with 10 non-premium users every month. This feature is to promote YouTube Premium. The shared videos will remain ad-free for 30 days. The feature is currently in trial mode and is being tested with premium subscribers in countries like Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Turkey and the UK.
YouTube is the largest free video streaming platform. But now YouTube has made a new plan to promote the premium plan, which has recently been spotted on a new support page. This feature has been seen in the YouTube Premium feature. According to the Android Police report, YouTube Premium users will be able to share 10 ad-free videos with their non-premium users every month. Actually, YouTube wants to introduce as many users as possible to the ad-free experience, so that more and more users can be connected to the YouTube Premium feature.
YouTube’s new feature is in trial mode
If a YouTube Premium user clicks on the share link of one of his users, then his friend will be able to watch the entire shared video without any ad. As is known, YouTube Premium subscribers will be able to share 10 ad-free videos. However, music content, YouTube Originals, Shorts, Livestreams and Movies and Shows have not been included in it. Let us tell you that this feature is currently in trial mode. Meaning it has not been implemented as a YouTube feature. However, it is being tested with premium subscribers of countries like Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Turkey and United Kingdom.
Users of which countries will be able to enjoy the new feature
If you live in these countries and have a premium subscription, then you can enjoy this feature. For this, you will have to tap the share button on the watch page of the video. After this, you will have to select the ad free link and then either choose an app to share the link or tap on copy link.
How to enjoy ad-free YouTube videos
The interesting thing is that the limit of ad-free videos shared by you will not end until that video is watched. That means if you have shared 10 ad-free videos, and 4 people out of them have watched that video, then you will be able to send 6 more ad-free videos. Apart from this, if you have shared the ad-free video link with any premium user, then it will not be counted in the list of 10.
YouTube sets a limit of 30 days
If your friends watch your ad-free video after 30 days, they will have to watch the video with ads. Non-premium users can watch ad-free videos only if they are signed in to their YouTube account. In such a case, if you have received a link to an ad-free video, tap on the link and log in to the YouTube app on your Android or iOS device. However, this feature is currently limited to only a few members of YouTube Premium.
